Familiar ground
Unfamiliar challengeYou know how to lead when everything goes to plan. What about when it doesn't?
Running a business demands judgement, resilience and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
But most leadership development happens in comfortable environments, where there is time to think, discuss and prepare an answer.
Lone Survivor takes a different approach.
The Assessment Day gives you the opportunity to step outside familiar routines and experience challenges that reveal how you think, communicate and adapt when the situation changes.
It is not about proving how tough you are.
It is about discovering what you are capable of and where you could develop further.
More than an assessment.
The Lone Survivor Assessment Day is your first proper introduction to the experience and the people behind it.
Led by John Beamson and Danny, the day combines open conversation with hands-on challenges designed around you.
We want to understand your ambitions, your experience and what you are looking to develop.
You will get to know how we work, experience some of the principles behind Lone Survivor and discover how you respond to unfamiliar situations.
Just as importantly, you will have the opportunity to question us.
Because trust works both ways.
You find out the most about yourself when the usual answers are no longer available.

Built through hard places.
My name's John Beamson. I'm the CEO Adventurer.
I grew up in the North East and served in the British Army, including Iraq and Afghanistan, where I led troops in combat.
When I left the Army, I had to rebuild my own life and work out what came next.
Since then, I've worked with business owners and leaders who are used to having the answers, helping them discover what they're capable of when the usual structure disappears.
I'm not interested in giving you another motivational speech about resilience.
I'm interested in what you actually do when things become difficult.
The Assessment Day is your chance to meet me, understand how I work and decide whether I'm the right person to take you further.
I'll be asking myself the same question about you.
